Welcome to our first blog post!
At PhotoDynamic Inc we’ve spent a lot of time perfecting our flagship product, the oral hygiene medical device PhytoLight®. This device has been successfully registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and has successfully gone through Health Canada certification. We’ve completed two clinical studies conducted by the Harvard University-affiliated Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts. More about our phenomenal results will be shared in a later post!
The logical subject for this post is: What is it and how does it work?
What is it?
The PhytoLight System is an oral hygiene product that incorporates two parts: (1) PhytoLight oral hygiene device and, (2) PhytoLight daily cleansing dental foam.
How does it work?
The bioactive dental foam was specially formulated to be used with the PhytoLight device. It is a unique, safe product and contains gentle food-grade ingredients. The foam contains a patented bioactive plant extract called PhytoQuin® (we’ll tell you more about that later, it’s a fascinating story!) that is activated with blue light (465 nm) and once activated, starts a cascade of reactive oxygen species (ROS, you’ve probably heard of them!) that do incredible things in the mouth. These ROS target some of the nastiest bacteria in the oral cavity and disrupt the biofilm on the teeth and gums. Our research has verified that our treatment not only kills many oral bacterial species, including Streptococcus mutans, but also prevents regrowth, while leaving the healthy oral microbiome intact.
Why use it?
The question is why wouldn’t you use this incredible revolutionary product? The dental community has been recommending the same advice for decades: brush and floss. The problem: many of us are high plaque formers, wear braces, or have other oral health issues like gingivitis. The mainstream advice of brushing & flossing just doesn’t cut the mustard! According to the recent CDC report on oral health, nearly half (46%) of all adults aged 30 years or older show signs of gum disease, the leading cause of tooth loss. Feel free to read more here! https://www.cdc.gov/OralHealth/index.html
More and more we are becoming aware of the link between the oral microbiome and systematic illnesses like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, respiratory infections, and cognitive decline. We will take a deep dive into this in a future blog post!
Have a minute?
Our PhytoLight regime takes one minute. Let me say that again: ONE MINUTE. There is no other product on the market that can do that!
Thanks for reading and we can’t wait to share more information with you!

This is so true, and I’m really glad you’re highlighting the importance of that initial welcome. It genuinely needs more attention than it often gets. I've definitely experienced places that get the welcome right, and it makes all the difference in how I feel about staying and exploring further. Conversely, a lukewarm reception can sometimes make me hesitate, even if the rest of the offering is good https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker I’ll be coming back to this content on the welcome experience for sure, as it’s a concept I feel strongly about. You've made some really valuable points here. It’s also worth noting that the effectiveness of a welcome can vary so much depending on the context and the audience. I'm definitely putting…
This post is truly fantastic and definitely deserves to be shared far and wide. I especially appreciated how you broke down the concept of welcome first in such a unique way; it's not something I've encountered in other guides. Honestly, it’s one of the better resources I've come across recently. Thinking back, what's one thing you wish you had known earlier about this whole welcome first process https://www.utas.edu.au/ The advice about forming habits around it really resonated with me. I've found that the strategies I adopted after reading your explanation are still incredibly valuable in my daily routine. It feels like you've hit the nail on the head with your insights. I’m already looking forward to a potential follow-up piece…
Wow, this is such a fantastic starting point! It’s funny, I was literally just thinking this morning about how I first stumbled into this world. It really was a bit of a happy accident, and I honestly wish I had something like this guide when I was first getting my bearings. It would have saved me so much time and confusion https://nppa.com.au/ Thinking about it further, a kind of comparison framework for different approaches within this space would be incredibly useful. It’s hard to know where to even begin sometimes. I've found myself explaining these concepts to friends who are just starting out, and this post perfectly captures what I've been trying to articulate. I'm definitely sending this along to…
